Job duty

Job Responsibilities :

  • Implement and optimize the low level network layer of both client and server engines.
  • Implement game logic related code for both client and server engines.
  • Develop tools for server and network maintenance.

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in computer science or related field
  • 2 years of game coding experience, including networked games
  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Knowledge of SQL statement
  • Strong data structures, logic, and algorithm skills
  • Good command of object oriented programming skill
  • Good observational skills and the ability to translate them into game ideas
  • Self motivation and willingness to pitch in on many areas of small game development
  • Passion for playing and creating MMO games
  • Cantonese is a basic requirement. Good command of Mandarin or English is a plus
  • Team player
  • General gameplay experience on online games

Pluses:

  • Programming languages including Java, PHP, C#, Visual Basic are pluses
  • Knowledge of WebService and MFC are pluses
  • Good command of scripting language LUA is a plus

Requirements

  • Good command of written and spoken in English and Chinese
  • Creative, initiative and able to work under pressure
  • Absolute Passion for playing and making computer games.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Familiar with the majority of PC games/Console games released in the past 10 years.

Pluses

  • Experienced in Designing, Playing Online games / Console games
  • Non-design development experience (as an artist, programmer, etc).

Requirements

  • Experience with Photoshop, Painter, etc.
  • A basic understanding of using 3DS Max and/or Maya
  • Designing Ability on concept art including characters, buildings, environment.
  • The ability to carry an idea from the conceptual phase to the finished illustration and an understanding of translating these ideas to real-time game environments
  • Self-motivation/ Good communication skills / Team-player attitude
  • Skill in one or more of the related creation tasks -- modeling, texturing, or animation

  • Experience of developing games
  • A passion for developing games
